Building a Common Framework for Assessing, Understanding and Maximizing Impact
The Research and Prospective Pole of the Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme (FMSH), supports the creation of projects dedicated to innovative themes in the humanities and social sciences (SHS).
This call for projects is a new feature of one of the main missions of the FMSH, which is to provide scientific and material support to research projects that are in the early stages of their development and can use the support of the FMSH to develop further their scientific content, methodology, and research networks.
Based on a suggestion of the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme, the European Foudation Center, the Caixa Foundation and the FMSH are launching the European Funders for Impact program.
The Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme and the Pause Program organize a discussion on « Migration » of scholars at risk, what perspectives of cooperation for the philanthropic sector?
Many programs have been set up to provide temporary protection for scholars and students fleeing conflict zones, natural disasters or persecution. However, the issue of their integration into the academic or corporate worlds remains open.
Fabrice Jaumont, researcher of the platform "Humanitarianism in globalization", will present his book Unequal Partners, published in the collection Le (bien) commun (Editions of the MSH).
The book will be discussed with Antoine Vaccaro, president of the Center for Study and Research on Philanthropy.
