“Europe, the Civilisation of Bread” is an association with the following objectives:

Bringing together

Researchers, professionals working in the grain, flour and bread-making sectors, institutions, museums, and bread lovers everywhere...

Gathering

Information
Fostering research and study of agricultural practices, grains, bread and bread substitutes, the specificity and diversity of breads in Europe, without forgetting “breads in other cultures”
Building up a pan-European database

Informing

The general public
Organising meetings and trips; diffusing information via exhibits, publications and multimedia (slide shows, videos)
Implementing an educational campaign about bread and good health in schools, high schools and middle schools

Sharing

The taste of bread in a friendly atmosphere
“Bread for all”
