Procedure:
A project leader is in charge of submitting projects and then ensuring the subsequent scientific and administrative follow-up if the project is accepted. He/she is assisted by two other coordinators from each of the two other countries. The project leader must send five copies of workshop proposals to the participating institution in his/her home country.
Application deadlines: June 30 of the current year
Candidate dossiers include:
• Overview of scientific project, as well as short presentation of the specific areas to be addressed in each of the three workshops;
• List of members forming the core group (title, positions, institutional address(es), a short C.V., and selected publications);
• Tentative list of other participants to be invited to the workshops
• Information on how work is to be organized, especially the linguistic aspects
• A tentative schedule for the three workshops and their specific themes.
Projects are selected by a committee of experts appointed by the three participating institutions. All projects are accepted for all three scientific meetings, under the condition that a scientific report is submitted after each individual workshop. Financing generally covers transportation and lodging for all participants, with each participating institution covering costs for researchers from their specific country. The concrete conditions and administrative rules on financing transport and research stays are specified by each of the three participating institution to each “national” coordinator.
