Applications are to be submitted online only. We will not accept any application received by post.
You can create, complete and review your file at any time during the open period of the call using the identifier that will be assigned to you when you create your candidate account.
Each application file must include:
1 An application form to complete online in French or English (incoming or outgoing - specify also the chosen fellowship(s) in the pulldown menu)
2 A Curriculum vitae
3 A list of publications
4 A detailed research project proposal (5-8 pages, plus a bibliography of maximum 2 pages ), in English or in French.
- incoming applicants: the project proposal must be written in English or in French.
- outgoing applicants: the project proposal must be written in French, along with a version in the host country’s language or in English
5 Copy of the doctoral diploma
6 Summary of the applicant’s doctoral dissertation (2 pages maximum)
6.1 Only for outgoing applicants: A copy of the dissertation defence report (“rapport de soutenance”) - in the case the dissertation was defended in France
7 Two (2) letters of recommendation from scientific scholars from France or elsewhere.
8 A welcome letter from the director of the institution or research laboratory that agrees to host the applicant and direct his/her research for the duration of the fellowship. Attention: if you apply to a laboratory part of a labex, the welcome letter must be written by the director of the host laboratory, not by the director of the labex.
Documents 2 to 8 must be uploaded in one single file (pdf or Word format exclusively).
For confidentiality matters, recommendation letters may be sent directly by their authors to the following address:

(be sure to check the corresponding box in the online form and that the letters arrive before the closure of the call for applications)
You can update and complete your application as many times as you want during the opening period of the call.
When you will have completed and validated your application, you will not be able to update it anymore. You will receive and akcnowledgement of receipt, that will give you more detailed information on the selection procedure and expected deadlines.
