Applications must be submitted both electronically and by post.
Each application file must include:
1 An application form (to be downloaded): incoming / outgoing
2 Curriculum vitae.
3 List of publications.
4 Detailed research project proposal (5-8 pages long, plus a bibliography of 2 pages maximum), in English or French.
- incoming applicants: the project proposal must be written in English or in French.
- outgoing applicants: the project proposal must be written in French, along with a version in the host country’s language or in English.
5 Copy of the doctoral diploma.
6 Summary of the applicant’s doctoral dissertation (2 pages maximum)
6.1 Only for outgoing applicants: A copy of the dissertation defence report (if the dissertation was defended in France).
7 Two (2) letters of recommendation from scientific scholars from France or elsewhere.
8 A welcome letter from the director of the institution or research laboratory that agrees to host the applicant and direct his/her research for the duration of the fellowship.

Upon reception of the application file, a letter is sent to the applicants to inform them that their applications have been received and to give more detailed information on the selection procedure and anticipated deadlines.
