:: Chili Cooperation

The FMSH is wholly committed to collaborating with Chilean institutions that request its assistance.  This collaboration is geared towards reorganizing the social sciences sector, which was gravely threatened under the dictatorship.  The initiative entails close collaboration with the French Embassy in Santiago.  Several visits have already been made to France and to Chili to set up partnerships, in particular with the Universidad de Chile, the Católica de Santiago and de Valparaiso.


For this initial phase, the Prefalc and Hermès Programs are helping to create solid bases for longstanding collaborations in various disciplinary areas, including philosophy, history of regionalization, agri-food economics, bioethics, anthropology, among others.
