The FMSH logo is an original typographic design.
The size of the logo may be modified, but only if the proportions of the original logo are maintained. It can not be redesigned nor can the spacing between the characters be changed.
Its use is standardized: preferably, the logo appears on a white background. When it appears against a colored background or a picture, the logo should be laid out in a white title block or using spot colors, depending on the case.
A buffer zone must be respected: this refers to the white space surrounding the letters, the size of which is equal to the ascenders in “fondation maison des sciences de l’homme” (the f, for example); the size of this space is equal to half the height of the M in FMSH. The surrounding elements must not appear in this zone.
The typography chosen for the logo is The Sans Light Plain (you can add it to your fonts). Arial, which is available by default on all computers, accompanies this typography.

In most cases, the logo is used a four-color print processing format in its “complete” format. In some cases (spot color printing), it may be used in Pantone 5404EC or in black. Exceptionally, its “abridged” version is used in four-color or white print processing.
