INFOS PRATIQUES
The computer/IT service is a technical platform that helps the FMSH fulfill its objective of serving research in the human and social sciences. It is in this perspective that the website hosting service houses sites of scientific partners or those of research teams supported by the FMSH.
More than fifty sites are currently hosted. The high variance of the available technologies makes it possible for the service to host a vast array of websites.
The main components of the FMSH’s web technologies and databases include the following:
- the main site of the FMSH
- Web database applications developed by the CRD
- third-party database applications
- hosting websites, partnerships and collaborations with other institutions or centers
In order to host sites, a Web Charter must be signed. Hosting Requests are subject to the approval of the Administrator of the FMSH.
