- SEMIOTIQUE CULTURE COMMUNICATION
The “Semiotics, Culture and Communication” (SCC) Portal was developed in large part thanks to financing from the European R&D project called LOGOS (2006-2009). This portal gives users access to around 300 hours of online videos: interviews, conferences and scholarly seminars, special reports, and documentaries. It provides access to audiovisual recordings made with researchers, professors, specialists, and professionals working on the role of semiotics in the description and analysis of communication and cultural facts from both the theoretical and applied points of view.
The SCC portal includes an online library available in Italian and French, which was set up and is led jointly by the Cognitive Semiotics and New Medias Team (ESCoM) at the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme and the Facoltà di Scienze della Comunicazione della Sapienza Università di Roma.
The SCC Portal is part of the Audiovisual Research Archives Program (ARA).
